Membership Information
Eligibility Requirements
Membership is open to persons involved with the purchasing or materials process, including and without limitation, purchasing, purchasing research, value analysis, inventory control, materials management, supply chain management, or any other activity or function which is related to the purchasing or material process. People employed in teaching positions with academic responsibility for purchasing management or materials management are also eligible for membership. People involved in sales or solicitation of orders are not eligible for membership, in most cases. (EXCEPTIONS may be made for small business owners or operators who sometimes have multiple responsibilities).
Regular Member
Regular members are entitled to vote and hold membership in both NAPM-Bay Area, Inc. and NAPM. You will receive all NAPM literature as well as all local publications
Regular Membership dues are $150.00 per year. There is also a one time charge of $20.00 for administrative fees. Dues are assessed on January 1 of each year. For you convenience, click here to print our Membership Application to fill out and send to our local address.
Associate Membership
In order to be eligible as an associate member, your company must have at least one regular membership. Associate memberships from the same company are limited to four for each regular membership. Associates will only receive the local NAPM-Bay Area Newsletter. Associate dues are $75.00 annually.
Student Membership
Students membership is open to full-time college students. Dues are free. Student members are not allowed to vote.
